Usually the merch follows the music. Usually bands make t-shirts inspired by their songs, not the other way around. Guess that makes Crooked Coast just a little bit different.
‘Rise & Shine’ started off as a slogan on a shirt before becoming what I’m sure will become something of an anthem for the band. Combining ska, rock and a bit of rap-style vocals, this is the sort of track feel good track that could just turn your day around a little bit.
It really is “time to rise and shine” with Crooked Coast as they take a familiar sound and just give it a bit of a polish, before scuffing it up again with their own style.
