DWNKILL – Knives

Now into year three as a band, DWNKILL are a versatile band bringing hardcore and metal influences together and moving between them on each track with no drama at all. That’s something which is especially true on ‘Knives’, their first release of the year. Chugging riffs and sharp notes combine with harsh vocals to create an atmosphere to lose your shit to.

Good Teal – LOOKOUT

Release Date: 3rd April 2024

Sticking in the hardcore arena, but moving a little post, sees Good Teal and their short but oh so sweet track ‘LOOKOUT’. At just shy of two minutes the track is a burst of energy that will have some of the most bruising pits you’ve ever seen. Despite being just the second track the band have released, there’s so much cohesiveness on show that you just know these are going to burst straight out of the New Jersey scene.

KID-O – Kaputt

Release Date: 4th April 2024

Punk from Germany done the old school way sees KID-O release their latest track, ‘Kaputt’, to the world. Throwing back to the grungey days where everything was just that little bit gritty, the four-piece born from various villages around Germany combines in a filthy harmony to glorious effect. This track has dive bar with cheap beer in plastic containers written all over it. Just like the ceilings when ‘Kaputt’ comes on.
