With an intro that builds through intense vocals and a riff that creeps up on you, Tiny Tree are giving you an immediate glimpse into what they’re about. ‘Drowing’ sees them flex their ‘post rock’ muscles in an energetic way that catches the eye and the ear.
The stand out element of the song is certainly the vocals and their ability to put out so much energy on a recorded track that you feel like you’re listening live. Combined with atmospheric guitars and a relentless sound and it is easy to get dragged in.
These Americans have drawn on so many styles and fans of bands like Black Peaks will be very happy with what they hear here.
