A strong riff can be all it takes to get a song noticed sometimes and that’s certainly the case on ‘Rollercoaster’ from the peculiarly named Glazed Curtains.
The track, from their early 2019 album Hey You is a marker for a band aiming to bring the true spirit of rock ‘n’ roll to as many people as possible. The track has that dirty, sleazy vibe to it that bands like Hardcore Superstar are keeping alive, but this has a different feel to it. It’s more rounded and just plain and simply rocks harder.
From the excellent vocals to the enticing guitars, this is a stand-out track from a really strong album that will have gone under a lot of people’s radar.
