When distant, harsh vocals are combined with the haunting sounds of a childs toy in a horror game you know you’re in for a treat. ‘Foul Play’ from RawDawg is ballsy, in your face and entirely brash. This is what music should be like!
If you’re a fan of Fever 333 you’ll be familiar with the style, though ‘Foul Play’ is considerably less political. For some that will be important.
As a track it feels like an abusive winter in song form with a dirty, dirty drum beat and a vocal style not too disimilar to Childish Gambino’s ‘This Is America’. An assault on the senses throughout.
