Dream State are back with their latest album ‘Primrose Path’ which was released back in October! From the moment they stepped on stage at ULU, there was no messing around, we were mesmerised from the get go! With a mixture of open, honest and dark emotions poured into the lyrics (and completely relatable), riffs and lead singer CJ’s sharp vocals bouncing off the walls, the crowd were in utter awe.
Not to forget, Dream State not only bought their A game, they recruited the Swedish Alt-rock sensation, Normandie. All the way over from Stockholm, Normandie teared up the stage with old and new combined; even teasing fans with unreleased material, the next to be released: Jericho. Although the evening was the end of an era for the band, what with it being bassist Lucas’ last ever performance for the band, they celebrated in complete style, including a birthday cake smash in lead singer, Philip Strand’s face for his 27th Birthday. How ever the band play their next move, we’re super excited to what Philip Strand and the team bring to the table and we’re all here for the ride!
Dream State are now getting ready to set off for a European tour supporting Being as an Ocean, and we’re seriously looking forward to seeing what they have prepared for the new year!
