Dutch metal mob Black Pegasus dropped their new album last week in the form of Nineveh and with it a single in the form of the brutally heavy ‘Oberon’.
Five minutes of pounding drums and chugging guitars combine with ease and are accompanied by hauntingly dark vocals. Transitions between sections of filthy riffs that almost feel bad for your health and stompier sections that will give the most ardent of headbanger a workout see a good amount of variation, even though it all feels like a ruddy good pummelling.
