Released at the start of May, ‘Silly Voices’ from American industrial metallers Methodical is the sort of track you find in a random tent early in the day at a festival that makes the band become one of the best of the weekend out of pure surprise.
Building up for the first 30-seconds to a ball of energy, it gives the impression it’s about to explode but it then simmers along through the first verse until the energy is released to a chorus of ‘get it out of me’.
This is a band that has seen the likes of Rammstein and Marilyn Manson make huge industrial style metal over the past 20 odd years and are striving to put their own stamp on it.
