Feeling like a 00s Foos with a combination of Billie Joe Armstrong and Dave Grohl’s vocals, the band have been around for a few years now but that bloody pandemic thing really put a spanner in the works. Pushing on in 2023 though and ‘This Is Awkward’ is the exact remedy to those winter blues.
A catchy hook, an increase in emotion through the choruses and a kick-ass solo toward the end. What’s not to like?!
