When a track is sold as being ‘fun-first’ it could be a good or bad thing. Here though, British duo Shelf Lives nail it with a track that is just bursting with pent-up energy.
Released almost a month ago now, the best thing about ‘Bite’ is that despite being Shelf Lives at its core, it just feels like another evolution in the chaotic sound that they are making their own. This is the sort of track you can see being heard in clubs up and down the country in those sweaty dank clubs that underground bands thrive on.
Think bands like Wargasm when looking for a reference but with the sort of aural assault that The Prodigy thrive on. These guys will be making a name for themselves and quickly.
