Some bands epitomise the underground. The punky vibe and unique sound are usually the first giveaways and that’s the case here with Frozemode and their ode to all things sweaty gigs in those small venues where everything just feels a little more genuine than those arena concerts.
“Sweat dripping off me, the cigarette smell will be sticking to me for a couple of weeks” – if this doesn’t resonate with you then you haven’t been to enough of those shows where you’re just not sure if it’s your sweat or the chap you bounced off three songs ago. ‘Simon Says’ is as much an experience as it is a song.
