Heading into their second year as a band, it feels like Bayline represent a limited number of Dutch punk-rock band. That may just be British bias coming into play as we have more top-quality punk bands than pubs, but it’s great to get the view from mainland Europe.
Released last week, ‘Ignore The Devil’ sees the quintet set out their stall for the year and probably leans a bit more towards the rockier side of their catalogue to date. Sadly there’s not so much as a reference to Motley Crue’s ‘Shout At The Devil’, more an energetic track that is at its strongest in the vocal area.
This is the first track from an album expected towards the end of 2023 so keep everything peeled for that. I’m sure we’ll have more coverage of the band as the year pushes on.
