Released just a week ago, ‘Sick’ the new single from Toronto, Canada’s Vangelism has all the hallmarks of a classic indie song, it’s just been forced to do a wolf run so is now dirty as fuck.
Written from neighbouring vehicles at the height of lockdown, Vangelism is the culmination of years of frustrations of the status quo. Thankfully, when artists use these frustrations for good they tend to produce some truly top notch work. ‘Sick’ is another example of this.
With catchy, dancey choruses and dirty riffs and vocals in there too, ‘Sick’ is pretty much everything you need in a rock song.
