Ah Seattle, the birthplace of so many of the biggest bands around over the past 30 years. The city may feel like it has gone quiet since the halcyon days of grunge but there is a scene still there, bubbling away.
Something that is always important with any form of ‘art’ is that you don’t stand still and Avoid are doing their best to push their local scene towards a harder hitting, more powerful and energetic for of rock.
From the anthemic choruses through the dirty verses, ‘Heat’ is a modern rock track through and through and continues the exciting work that Avoid have been doing since their debut dropped in 2018.
