In this time of confusion and boredom we may as well delve back a bit and find some songs we missed first time round, starting with Berna and their track ‘Unreal’.
From the opening chug you know what you’re about to get with ‘Unreal’, a high energy, passionate and polarising affair. Metalcore will always, always split opinion but the bands that do it well will get recognised. Berna are giving it their best shot here for sure.
The clean vocals have more depth than many contemporaries and the chugging riffs feels bigger and more energetic than many too. This is as good as metalcore track as you’ll hear.
