Chrissy Costanza, best known as the vocalist for alternative band Against The Current, has released her debut solo single ‘7 Minutes In Hell’.
Costanza explores the conflict between her true self and the idealised version others expect her to be through the lens of a dark romance. With the twist on the game ‘7 Minutes In Heaven’, the song explores the line between Heaven and Hell, right and wrong and embracing one’s supposed dark side.
Costanza comments on the track, “‘7 Minutes In Hell’ explores the unsettling reality of how someone else’s Heaven can be your personal Hell. For years, I was bound by others’ expectations, always questioning why I was drawn to what they deemed ‘wrong.’ This song is the awakening after falling from grace, realizing that what they called Hell might actually be my freedom.”
‘7 Minutes In Hell’ is a collaboration with pop-rock duo VOILÁ, made up of Luke Eisner and Gus Ross. In addition to the track, Costanza has also announced a tour alongside VOILÁ on the Spin The Bottle tour. Tickets are on sale on Friday 26th July.
