New Music Roundup – 11th June 2024 – Part 3

Coma Waves – Stigma

Release Date: 6th June 2024

With a background in the swamps of Florida it’s little wonder that there’s just an undercurrent of filth in the latest track from American alt-metal mob Coma Waves. With elements of hard rock and pop-punk in there, ‘Stigma’ is a track that will have a wide-reaching appeal as it combines contemporary sounds with an almost nu-metal undercurrent. This is one to scream along to.

In Decay – Wake

Release Date: 7th June 2024

New York based In Decay are all about the heavy life. Debut single ‘Suffering’ dropped in April and proved that these guys are no fools before ‘Wake’ was unleashed last week and just doubled down on the fact that these guys mean business. Take a trip back to the mid-noughties and ramp up the energy on some of the early metalcore bands and you’re not too far away from how In Decay feel.

Queen Cult – The Hand Lender

Release Date: 7th June 2024

Alt-rockers Queen Cult have been moving from strength to strength for the few years that they’ve been in existence and ‘The Hand Lender’ feels like another step on that journey. Combining punky spoken vocals and cleaner singing in the choruses, this track has an all-encompassing feel to it. Musically it overwhelms the senses from start to finish as the drumming builds through the track. This is one to lose your shit to.

Safe Harbour – The World Is Waiting For You

Release Date: 7th June 2024

Just setting out on their journey are Safe Harbour, for whom ‘The World Is Waiting For You’ is just the third track to their name. With a debut EP on the horizon, the band are doubling down on what they do well: beautiful clean vocals and anthemic guitars that bind together. This is great time to get involved in Safe Harbour’s journey. Join us!
