Pinto Sunshine – A Beaner’s Tale
Release Date: 5th April 2024
Pinto Sunshine are a band early in their career still who are taking on the world of latin inspired ska and doing it in style. ‘A Beaner’s Tale’ does what a lot of good ska does and tells a tale backed by some infectious music. Taking on the style of Sublime but maybe even a little grittier in places, the track is the opener from their self titled Vol. 1 album released early this month and is worthy of a boogie or two.
Buddy Wynkoop – Zugzwang
Release Date: 16th April 2024
While the world shut down, bands started up. Same Pains – kin of death
Release Date: 4th April 2024
Flying into their second year as a band, Aussie metalcore outfit Same Pains have released their fifth track to date in ‘kin of death’. Aggression pours out of the track from the moment the lyrics come in and the energy lifts further as the dirtiest of guitars joins the mix. What is most reassuring here is when the clean vocals arrive they aren’t squeaky and perfect. They join in and maintain the rawness elsewhere.

LLO LLO – Don’t Forget About Grace
Release Date: 12th April 2024

Get this on and let loose.
