Fans of 80s pop might be forgiven for thinking they were going dancing on the Rio Grande as ‘Hypomania (I’m Awake)’ kicks in, the chuckle isn’t what it seems though as it in this instance triggers the latest track from Layla Bina.
Clocking in at just over four minutes, the track lies heavily in the garage rock arena but has riffs ala Heart and lives up to it’s name with rolling elements of softer, more considered instrumental sections before launching into frenetic sections of energy.
