German groovy core outfit Rest In Beef are up next and despite having one of the worst names in music are doing a decent job of showing that not all German music sounds like a Rammstein rip-off.
Driven by guitars and riffs, the latest single name ‘Inner Strife’ is a reminder that you don’t have to have the….beefiest…vocals to create hard-hitting metal. Those vocals suit the hardcore elements of the track down to a tee but where the track ventures into more melodic areas they feel a little lacking in their depth. Still though the pure energy coming out of this German group is enough for anyone to want to give them a spin.
