Release in September last year, ‘The Worst Kind’ is a sort of introspective track that came about as a result of vocalist Eric Boatright going through some struggles. The result though is a powerful hard rock track.
A few years after their debut album, Saints & Sinners, Shallow Side aren’t happy just copying what came before and slapping a new album around it, instead, they’re upping the riffs, upping the emotion and trying to cut through the background noise behind it.
This may be approaching the 6-month mark since release but there’s plenty to get your teeth into and the lyrics are, sadly, timeless.
