Finnish melo-death – metalcore hybrid Everture have today released the first single from their upcoming album. The Scandinavian rockers are bringing what they hope to be a ‘modern’ metal sound to their first release in since 2021’s Emerge.
Succeeding for the most part, they combine a relatable story about lies catching up with someone with dual vocalists providing a wide range of styles, deep growls to high cleans. Behind that we have soaring guitars over pounding drums to support an intriguing story.
There’s not much in the way of anything ‘revolutionary’ here, but this is a solid track to get Everture back into people’s ears and one well worth your time.
