Hot off the press, the latest single from one of Finland’s most exciting prospects, moshimoshi, is out today and will do nothing to calm the expectations around the band.
Almost indie-esque, clangy guitars sit over precise drumming that is the canvas for the post-rock style vocals. The track pulls these gritty vocals and puts them in contrast with a softer, yet still energetic set of instruments and the coexist so well it’s hard to imagine listening to music any other way as the 160 seconds ticks past.
This isn’t necessarily a track for everyone, but for fans of Touche Amore there is a lot to like here and moshimoshi are likely going to end up on your regular rotation.
