With amazing support from Germany’s Post-Hardcore band, Annisokay, who straight away knew how to snatch the crowd’s attention, having people already on their shoulders with their pre-gig songs, having reinvented themself after their 2020 release of ‘Aurora’, this German band were not shy to get the crowd moving, during their cover of ‘Duality’ by Slipknot, Lead Singer Rudi Schwarzer, put his trust into the crowd and jumped in, crowd surfing while keeping up with the face paced song, as well as making the whole crowd get down onto the floor and jump back up, which the crowd happily joined, getting that final energy ready, the band ended on two of their heavier songs ‘Coma Blue’ & ‘STFU’ which had the crowd moving front to back.

Now, Electric Callboy has not been shy to the UK’s music scene this year, having played a sold-out London headline show earlier in the year, as well as Slam Dunk, seeing parents bring their kids along in merchandise was the cutest highlight but this band knew how to grab everyone’s attention from the get-go, coming on stage in the classic ‘Pump It’ music video outfits and even setting a confetti cannon off, with a quick outfit change, the band went straight into ‘Arrow/Love’ which urged fans to start crowd surfing, even though Nico messed up the order of their setlist letting the rest of band call him out and cracking jokes between songs, This German band do not know what too much confetti is, and the crowd loved it, coming out with Handheld cannons during ‘MC Thunder II’.

If you ever want to experience a band that dances, sneak up on each other, and even does some ‘TikTok’ dances without, Electric Callboy is the band to see. Following (another) quick outfit change, the band came out in their iconic ‘Hypa Hypa‘ outfits, if there was a song to crowd surf to, this was the one, and the fans did not disappoint, more people were in the air than on the floor.
Ending with another outfit change before diving straight into ‘We Got The Moves‘ and some classic streamers, this band’s production was next level and we recommend catching them on their 2023 ‘Tekkno’ Tour.
