Albums of the Year 2021: Kevin Lay

.Holding Absence – The Greatest Mistake Of My Life

While I respect differences of opinion, quite frankly all other suggestions for Album Of The Year are null and void. This record captured my heart the first time I heard it, and every listen since has only seen me fall deeper and deeper in love with it. It has a song for every mood, it has a lyric for every feeling, and it has a quality that means it will stand the test of time. Additionally, the recent tour in support of this album cycle was one of the best live shows I have ever been to. Take me back.

.Don Broco – Amazing Things

.Trash Boat – Don’t You Feel Amazing?

.You Me At Six – Suckapunch

.While She Sleeps – Sleeps Society

.Taylor Swift – Red (Taylor’s Version)

.Frank Carter and The Rattlesnakes – Sticky

.The Maine – XOXO: From Love & Anxiety In Real Time

.Biffy Clyro – The Myth of The Happily Ever After

.Billie Eilish – Happier Than Ever
