Remember when two-piece bands were all the rage and they basically did all they could to copy Royal Blood? Thank fuck we’re past that. With bands like Haggard Cat showing how to do it properly these days it is no surprise we’re seeing the likes of Hipflast Virgins coming out of the woodwork.
‘Line Of Fire’ sees the pair come up with a sound that belies the lack of members in the band. Created during lockdown, the track kicks up some serious grooves with some dirty vocals being thrown out there too.
This is just that little bit funkier than you would have come to expect from a two piece band and quite frankly just that little bit better too.
