Opening as if all the notes from Stairway To Heaven have been mixed up, ‘Losing Journey’ powers into a riff fueled rock track that will fill even the most ardent rocker’s prog quota.
With airs of bands like Haken and Sevendust (vocally at least to begin with) in places, it’s a strange line that is being toed and the soft, almost haunting vocals add to the intrigue.
This is a rock song that bounces from style to style, from heavy to beautiful. At a running time of eight minutes, it also doesn’t get dull, even for a minute.
