Some band drift between genres so well it’s like they were just meant to play both, some bands combine them as if they were always supposed to be a thing.
Enter Grim Light and ‘Tomb’ a track that brings metal and hardcore together in so that on their own the two genres feel lifeless if you listen to either straight after. From the first drum beat you can feel that energy pouring out of the speakers, all consuming.
The breakdowns are huge, the riffs bigger. This is a band that have stumbled quite on purpose onto something that could turn out to be special. Get on board.
