Fans of bands like Coheed and Cambria can sit up and take notice here as American rockers Bear Or Battleship are bringing a familiar sound done in a new fashion.
With the end of January seeing the band release ‘City Lights’, a soaring cross between alt- rock and melo-metal that builds and builds through the songs almost 5-minute run time. This is a song that doesn’t really fit a genre and that’s evident from guitars that sound almost game soundtrack in parts.
If you’re wanting a song that transitions well, with interesting vocals that don’t hold back at all and an energy unlike a lot of modern rock then this is the place to be.
