Bisou Noir – Karma!

When a band’s origins are ‘meeting as extras on the set of Mamma Mia 2’ it’s fair to say it’s not easy to know what to expect. Bisou Noir are such band and after polishing their indie/alt style of rock to a tee they have been trickling out music for the past few months.
‘Karma!’ is the latest release from the band and it’s influences are rife with late 90s and early 00s rock. Choruses in the ilk of softer Chili’s and Arctic Monkey’s style verses give a contrast between the two that will leave you wonderingif you hit skip my accident.
This is an energetic romp half of the time and soft, casual wander for the other half. Not your generic rock track and taking just enough influence to add to their own ideas that it feels familiar and new.
