Finally, Jimmy Eat World aren’t so lonely anymore! 2000 Trees has just announced their first wave of bands and the lineup is already stacked with some of the best acts across punk, indie and rock.

One of the most exciting additions to the lineup is Creeper. The goth punks marked their return to the stage last November with the theatrical punk banger ‘Born Cold’ and have since followed it up with yet another great song in ‘Annabelle’. Over the past few years we’ve seen Creeper smash festival slots at Reading & Leeds and Download so there’s little doubt that this will be a continuation of their excellent form.

Joining the Southampton punks are indie lads The Amazons who are no strangers to the festival circuit. The band are doing the rounds touring their newsest album Future Dust and are rapidly making their way towards arena stages. There’s a significant indie presence across the weekend with The Joy Formidable, Lady Bird and Dream Nails also on the bill.

If you’re after something heavy, 2000 Trees has you properly sorted with hardcore best boys Knocked Loose bringing their yarp to Gloucestershire as well as Ithaca, The St Pierre Snake Invasion and We Never Learned To Live.

There are lots of Trees regulars on the bill as well as punk bands that are gonna make you party (I’m looking at you Dinosaur Pile Up, Hot Milk and Nervus) and boy is this lineup shaping up to be lots of fun.
