Gallery: Real Friends @ Rescue Rooms, Nottingham 21/10/19

We headed out to catch Real Friends on their current tour at Nottingham on a gloomy Monday evening, and its safe to say that they didn’t disappoint. They brought a set list of current and older songs, they had the whole crowd engrossed in every single word they were singing. They turned a gloomy Monday into a safe space for everyone to sing and dance til their hearts content. Dan (lead singer) was fully driving home the message of self love so I think we all left that show feeling slightly better about ourselves. Amongst all the crowd surfers they found the time to engage with photographers and proving that they still love being on that stage.

Support came from two heavy hitting bands Grayscale & Belmont. Belmont were up first and bringing every ounce of energy to their set meaning the crowd were already sweaty and ready to get their night started. They are definitely one to catch live if you ever get the chance. Grayscale were up after them bringing out all the new hits and older songs which the crowd loved. Collin is always a pleasure to watch perform as he has so much energy and you can see him mean every word he sings. This band deserves to be a lot more recognised for their continued excellent songs and lets not get started on their merch game.
