Bloodstock Reveals Seven More Bands

As the summer edges ever closer, so too does the UK’s premier heavy metal festival as Bloodstock have announced a further seven acts for this years event.

First up, Belgian death metal titans, Aborted are bringing their new album ‘TerrorVision’ to Catton Park’s main stage and are excited to be back, “Bloodstock!  It’s been a while!  We couldn’t be more thrilled to lay waste to thee in the most offensive of manners this coming summer. Prepare my friends, the blastbeat is coming!”

 

Joining the death metal fun are Skeletal Remains, who will be playing the Sophie Lancaster stage on Saturday armed with last year’s ‘Devouring Mortality’.

 

Aussie rockers, The Lazys will being a classic rock n’ roll to party on the Sophie stage come Sunday!

3 Headed Snake also join the Sophie stage on Saturday. The LA-based classic metallers feature Ministry guitarist, Sin Quirin and recently released their eponymous EP.

 

Bringing a truly indescribable sound to Bloodstock are Boss Keloid! The stunning ‘Melted On The Inch’ was released last year on Holy Roar Records to huge acclaim. If you are a fan of progressive music, make sure you don’t miss their set!

 

Finally Dust Bolt and Red Method both land Saturday slots on the Sophie stage rounding off another exciting announcement that leaves us all chomping at the bit for the August to get its arse here!

All these acts will be joined by headliners, Sabaton, Parkway Drive, and Scorpions, alongside Anthrax, Cradle of Filth, Code Orange, Thy Art is Murder, Dee Snider, Queensryche, Soulfly, Metal Church and many more at Catton Park.
