Download Festival Adds 43 Bands

Just in time for the January payday, Download Festival has gone and added another 43 bands to a lineup that is already shaping up to be one of the best editions of the festival in recent years.

Joining mainstage headliners Def Leppard, Slipknot and Tool we have the likes of the legendary Stone Temple Pilots putting on what will likely be an emotional set, Fever 333 playing songs from their debut album Strength In Numb333rsClutch taking up their now customary 4th down on main slot and Halestorm hitting their highest slot to date headlining the Zippo Encore Stage.

From this batch of bands the MNN recommendations are:

Conjurer – Hot off releasing their album Mire. This band is what Download is all about!

 

Black Peaks – these guys are just going from strength to strength and this is their chance to tear Donington a new one.

 

Clutch – always one of the highlights of the weekend, Clutch bring their energetic and downright fun back to the hallowed grounds.
