News: Six Bands Join Bloodstock 2019 Line Up

With Halloween just around the corner, Bloodstock have provided an early treat for metalheads by announcing a further six bands for next year’s festival.

Children of Bodom join the Ronnie James Dio main stage as another UK exclusive for the festival. The band have spent time in the studio this year with producer Mikko Karmilla working on a new album which is set for release in 2019, meaning new material is highly likely to feature in their set.

Cradle of Filth return to Catton Park with some unfinished business on the main stage. Talismanic frontman Dani Filth can’t wait to be back.  “Obviously we want to finish what we started ten years ago, that is to finish our set!  And for that alone we are really, really looking forward to bringing a massive Cradle show back to the Bloodstock fans.

Soilwork are yet another UK festival exclusive, performing on the Sunday. The Swedish metallers are currently in the studio working on their eleventh album.

After Twisted Sister took their final bow in the UK with their iconic headlining slot in 2016, frontman Dee Snider will be back at Bloodstock in 2019.  Bringing his recent solo record, ‘For The Love of Metal’ to Bloodstock on Sunday, this will surely be one of the most fun sets of the weekend.

Prog-metal titans Queensryche will also take to Sunday’s main stage in support of their forthcoming sixteenth studio album.

Finally, Swedish death metal luminaries Hypocrisy join the Sunday line up. The band are scheduled to enter the studio in early 2019 to record their first album in six years.

All these acts will join the recently announced Friday night headliners, Sabaton, next summer,  with many more bands still to be announced over the coming months.

BLOODSTOCK will take place at Catton Park, Derbyshire on 8th-11th August 2019.  Get additional information and tickets over at www.bloodstock.uk.com.
