More Bands and Day Splits Announced for Slam Dunk Festival

Slam Dunk have finalised their already stacked lineup with the addition of 4 bands and stage splits. Joining the likes of  Jimmy Eat World and Good Charlotte are Lower Than AtlantisSay AnythingHomesafe and Me Vs Hero.

Most notable for anyone that got into pop-punk around 2010, Me Vs Hero are reuniting and playing their debut album Days That Shape Our Lives in full which will undoubtedly be a nostalgia filled set of fun.

Halfway through an extensive UK tour, Lower Than Atlantis are still proving that day in day out, they’re able to perform to a high quality and pump out banger after banger in their live set. Bringing radio rock anthems to the festival, they’re a fantastic addition to 1 of 2 main stages that the festival are showcasing.

Emo veterans Say Anything have popped up onto the lineup out of nowhere, with their last UK shows being at Slam Dunk 2012, they’re no stranger to the festival. They’re a seminal Slam Dunk band and a part of the tapestry.

Added to the Signature Brew stage are Homesafe. Featuring Ryan Rumchaks of Knuckle Puck, Homesafe imitate popular pop-punk, modern emo style of music but to a fairly high quality.

Now… onto the stage splits that you can see below. The most noticeable of all is the fact that Good Charlotte and Jimmy Eat World are playing two different stages, a battle of early 00s pop-punk may be in our midst. If neither are your cup of tea, you can see the festival headlined by hardcore titans, Every Time I Die, ska-punk legends Reel Big Fish, emo breakthroughs As It Is or rock press’s hot newcomers Palaye Royale. Although we’re mourning the loss of Thursday and Set Your Goals from the lineup, this is going to be an event to remember!
