Driven with vocals that just tickle that spot in the brain that gets you wanting to sing along, the song moves between bouncy riffs, catchy ska beats and has hooks for days. BLØSMM – Poser

Brand spanking new artist BLØSMM have announced their arrival on the scene with an insanely addictive ‘Poser’. Taken from their upcoming concept album, Archer And Ego, the debut track brings dark, atmospheric industrial vibes merged with bouncy riffs into a beautiful 170 second romp through alternative metal. There’s little doubting that Jordan White and Brian Dellis have chops in the industry with a couple of decades combined already, but putting out a new project and having it already feel as ‘complete’ as this is impressive.
overgloom – Pearl
Release Date: 31st July 2026
German rockers overgloom have managed to absolutely nail their name. Not only does it immediately sound familiar, it also nicely encapsulates their style. ‘Pearl’ pulls on the heartstrings as their tale unfolds, using incredibly emotive vocals backed up by soaring synths. The story of an abusive relationship brought to life harrowingly with backing vocals, if you will, of what is clearly someone treating their partner less like a human than they deserve. If the band can keep their standards up as high as they are here, after just two songs, then they’re going places.
Global Plague – Neonics

Back to the US for the next track and it’s ‘Neonics’ from Global Plague (no prizes for guessing which year these guys formed). If you like your metal with a tinge of hardcore and a whole lot of energy, ‘Neonics’ is likely to be right up your street. The sort of drumming you have to get your neck muscles warmed up for or you’ll do yourself some damage, vocals that sound like they’ve been on the wrong end of a few tots of whisky and riffs that will have you pounding the wall. Delicious.
Sunbleached – Maybe I’ll Come Around
Release Date: 19th August 2026
Finishing off with some alt-rock from down under, Aussie rockers Sunbleached are taking aim the emotionally unavailable in a track that feels at first like it might be itself. That is until the soft, shoegazey alt-rock falls away and all that’s left is a delightful guitar and vocals that reach a whole new level when they’re more isolated. Fans of Mouth Culture should be lapping this up.
