Manchester based pop-punk band Stay Safe have released their brand-new single ‘Catastrophe’.
The band comment, “We wanted ‘Catastrophe’ to tell the story of a relationship through the lens of the roles couples’ play- sometimes when things aren’t quite right it can feel like you’re just going through the motions and playing the role you’re supposed to rather than actually being present. And whilst we do wanna express ourselves as songwriters, pop punk’s at its best when it’s FUN. The track might have these kinda emo lyrics, it’s an absolute bop based around this massive riff, and a video that fits that 2010’s pop punk comedy vibe, playing on the whole cinematography concept and way too many costume changes.”
