We caught The Hara on their album launch opening show in London, with London alt-rockers Paradise Fell to support.

London based Paradise Fell open up this packed out room this evening, where a lot of people are hearing them for the first time. With a full set including most recently released track ‘little butterfly’ and fan favourite ‘NADIYA’, this short but sweet set showcases their raw energy and grunge tone in their tracks. Their set finishes with guitarist Harry Acreman standing in the centre of the crowd, before vocalist Matty Bankhurst kicks off the breakdown and a mosh pit surrounds Acreman – a memorable way to end a set for any first timers for Paradise Fell tonight.

It’s time for headliners The Hara to take the stage, on the first night of their UK run while they promote their brand-new album The Fallout. The atmosphere shifts as the band take to the stage, with a kitted-out skull microphone stand and a old-style telephone at the front of the stage, The Hara are known to bring props and a sprinkle of theatre to their sets.
Even though it’s the night before the official album release, the crowd in the room move and mosh to the new tracks like they’ve been listening to them all week. But they’ve included tracks for OG fans too, as we have title track from their 2023 album Survival Mode, which sets this packed room into commotion. Vocalist Josh Taylor’s has built in charisma, making him an ideal frontman, and crowd surfs almost instantly within their set.
As the excitement draws to a close, The Hara has made their mark at the beginning of their tour, and with the release of their newest album, we’re looking forward to what they can bring next.
