Hot Fiends – CIS HET FUCK BOYS

Taking aim at all the ‘bros’ in their local scene, Hot Fiends have released ‘CIS HET FUCK BOYS’ from their upcoming EP, a song that despite being fully punk, has guitars that vibe with Mastodon’s ‘Blood and Thunder’. The standout section of the song comes from the rough and raw vocals. This is where the song moves from being a standard punk song into a ferocious rant pointing and laughing at the type of guys that are just too damn cool for their local scene. This is a ‘stale beer venue’ sort of punk.
Poor Bambi – Skyscrapers Soaring, Yet We’re Drowning

We’re back again with our favourite Norwegian’s as Poor Bambi release ‘Skyscrapers Soaring, Yet We’re Drowning’ from their album releasing in less than two weeks. Here, one foot is in a classic and psychedelic sound and the other dancing around with punky vibes, continuing their trend of not settling for one specific sound or genre. As always, the echoey vocals pull most of the focus but as the track meanders to its conclusion and it builds more sinister it’s clear that this whole package keeps getting tighter and tighter.
SeaDaisy – Got Hit/Got Cut

Despite how it sounds on the surface, quite jolly and upbeat, ‘Got Hit/Got Cut’ is a delightfully melancholic look at how past relationships shape you as a person. With that in mind the whole tone of the song shifts to one with additional depth and hell, even the name of the song takes on deeper meaning. This is one of those songs you’ll find yourself singing and dancing along to while having a good old think about how life could have turned out.
1-800 BITCH – LAB RAT

Somehow ‘LAB RAT’ by American punks manages to be catchy, brash and cutting all in one three and a half minute song. A guitar riff that will get burnt into your ears, harsh vocals with lyrics that are spat rather than sung and a ploddy drum beat that gives the track a real feel of being genuine. ‘LAB RAT’ is a punk song that merges old school vibes a slower, more melodic, yet certainly not mellow, sounds.
DISCOZERO – And Again
Release Date: 6th January 2026
Finishing off with French rock band DISCOZERO and their latest track ‘And Again’ means at the very least you get to have a ruddy good boogie. From the very beginning there’s the feeling of a more serious version of Electric Six in here, the sort of music you’ll be able to let loose to and just a have a nice time instead of being dragged down by subtext. Still though, the track is about the rise and rise of consumerism…so maybe not.
