New Music Roundup – 30th December 2025 – Part 2

Toy Parlour – Dead Inside

Release Date: 23rd October 2025

There’s a certain something that alt-rock brings that just doesn’t seem to exist in many, if any, other genres. A swagger that comes from a riff that probably should have made its home in a song much heavier but instead forms the core of something catchy and fun. British upstarts Toy Parlour released ‘Dead Inside’ as just their third song and it feels like it’s just in time for a bluesy alt-rock renaissance. Good luck staying still listening to this. Not that you’ll want to.

Beyond Chaotic – Wasted

Release Date: 22nd October 2025

American post-punk outfit Beyond Chaotic have embraced the more skater side of the genre on latest single ‘Wasted’. Following an intro with drums that feel a little Green Day, it’s just full on energy. Relentless for almost two full minutes, ‘Wasted’ will have you singing along with the chorus in seconds and wanting to commit a crime so you can flee the scene on foot.

pieces – Money Machine

Release Date: 31st October 2025

A band not scared to try something a little funkier, pieces decided to have bass at the front of their music and then bring hard rock beats and rapped lyrics into the mix. The result is huge, with relentless attitude coming through in lyrics that show their frustrations at a world that values money over all.

Silent Child x Beginners – Don’t

Release Date: 7th November 2025

With a new EP released at the start of this month, Silent Child teamed up with Beginners to bring us ‘Don’t’, a track that’s just pure modern alt-pop-rock. Catchy from second one to second….144, if you’re liking Alt Blk Era and the like, this will be right up your street.

Nol K – Late to the Party

Release Date: 13th November 2025

A band that we just have to keep featuring, Brunei Darussalam’s Nol K are a couple of years into their journey and seem to be going from grungey alt-rock strength to strength. ‘Late to the Party’ has enough soul to fill a stadium, but you just know that if you could get this band headlining a gritty dive bar that they would be in their element. Emotionally heavy yet surprisingly fun to bounce to.

Charlotte Sands – one eye open

Release Date: 3rd December 2025

Earlier in December, American pop-alt-rock phenom Charlotte Sands released her latest single, ‘can we start over?’, to round off a year that saw four singles to follow 2024’s Satellite. If you’re a fan of Poppy but just can’t get on with the harsher elements, Charlotte Sands is likely exactly what you need in your ears. The countdown to 2026’s ‘Satellite’ is on and it’s going to be huge.
