The Hara have released their brand-new single ‘Violence’, featuring As December Falls vocalist Bethany Hunter Jiménez. This new single comes before the release of their upcoming album The Fallout, due for release on the 23rd January via Mascot Records.
Vocalist Josh Taylor shares, “When we wrote ‘Violence’, we always had in mind that it would be incredible to have a strong female voice on the track to really bring out the two characters and the emotion of what the song is about and when we heard Beth (As December Falls) was interested, we knew it would be a perfect fit. Her high pop punk vocals take it to a whole new level and she absolutely killed it on both the song and the music video.”
“It’s a love story without a clear villain,” Josh explains. “It’s about two people desperately trying to make something work, even though it was never meant to last. The pain, the hurt, the manipulation – they’ve come to mistake all of it for love. And because of that, they can’t bring themselves to let go.”
