Bristol-based quartet Hamartia have released a brand-new single ‘Bloom’, ahead of their debut headline show on February 12th at Cardiff’s Tiny Rebel.
‘Bloom’ is an anti-Valentine’s anthem about coming to terms that your relationship has run its course. Vocalist Sophie Smith comments on the track, “‘Bloom’ is another track that feels to us like a three-minute long post-breakup therapy session. We’ve all been in a position where we’ve changed who we are for somebody in the hopes that it ‘fixes’ something – but in reality, it does the opposite.”
“This song is our opportunity to lay all of our feelings bare, work through them and hopefully come out the other side with a new found appreciation for being true to ourselves, and putting ourselves first for once. You’re more than your worst boyfriend.”
