New Music Roundup – 6th January 2025

PUSCH – Arms Length

Release Date: 13th December 2024

Brattish and raw, ‘Arms Length’ from American hardcore mob PUSCH is the perfect introduction to the band for anyone new. Packed with ‘throw your beer and lose your shit’ energy, ‘Arms Length’ come from the band’s upcoming EP. One that is sure to leave you battered and bruised…because you know, when you get to a certain age, 68 seconds of letting loose is about all you can muster.

Broken Gods – A Modern Tale of Tragedy

Release Date: 2nd December 2024

Calm and collected for the most part but with the ability to let loose entirely in the chorus, ‘A Modern Tale of Tragedy’ is a rock ballad in the truest sense. Stunning vocals are backed by soaring melodies on a song that will bring back memories of Chris Cornell. What this song misses in terms of energy, it more than makes up for in emotion.

Slightlykilld – Green Lights

Release Date: 19th December 2024

Originally from Russia, the now London-based duo of Pollina and Kirill formed Slightlykilld to pour their creative juices into. ‘Green Lights’ is the latest release of thier’s and is a carefully crafted track that, yes, focuses on endings, but really is about the freedom that comes from acceptance that not everything lasts forever. Combining raw vocals with a catchy beat sees ‘Green lights’ become an addictive track.

Meta Forza x Karla Sor – iNSiDE

Release Date: 6th December 2024

American x Czechian collabs don’t come about all that often but, on the bases of ‘iNSiDE’ we’re pretty sad about that. Born from a love of hard rock and nu-metal, Meta Forza and Karla Sor have come together on a song that takes the musical depth of both combined with powerful vocals that elevate everything on show. An overall pure fun track.
