Munich trio Blackout Problems and Brighton duo Lake Malice have released a brand-new single ‘Quicker Than Death’. The track has been co-produced by the bands and mixed and mastered by Enter Shikari’s Rou Reynolds.
Blackout Problems comment on the single, “In preparation of our upcoming tour we thought it might be great to get to know each other up front and work on a song together. One that we can put into our sets and represent both bands on the RIOT Tour. It’s a great fit and we’re really looking forward to sharing the stage in 10 countries. The song has been mixed and mastered by one of our favourite artists Rou Reynolds of Enter Shikari which is just another highlight.”
Lake Malice add, “It’s amazing to have the opportunity to work on a song together without even being in the same country and it was a great creative challenge. We didn’t even talk about what we wanted to make. We just started out and since both bands are artistically pretty different the mix led us to something new. It came about really naturally and we love the outcome a lot.”
Blackout Problems and Lake Malice are on tour throughout the UK in October, tickets are on sale now.
