Vihilija – Kazka

Dark, brooding and intense, the latest track from post black metal outfit Vihilija sees them push on from 2023’s instrumental record, Ludalut, and into the realms of industrial infused black metal. Transitioning between atmospheric sections with screams that are borderline post-apocalyptic to heaver, bruising sections of drum driven pain. The potential in this band is in juxtaposition to the bleakness of the track itself.

King In Yellow – Desire Paths

Release Date: 15th April 2024

Kingston rockers King In Yellow are starting 2024 in tremendous style. With a few tracks under their belt already, April’s release, ‘Desire paths’, sees them bring their almost pschedelic vibes to the fore once again. Doing away with standard drum beats for much of the track, there’s an awkward energy to the grunginess that oozes from it. Edge Of Paradise – Rogue (Aim For The Kill)

Classic metal seeps from ‘Rogue (Aim for The Kill)’ as the Los Angeles based band take us back to the 80s in some style. Vocals that are reminscent of some of heavy metal’s cleanest, here Edge Of Paradise are using all of their experience to create a track that will get the blood boiling and the head banging. Killer guitars bring riffs and you can just feel that this is going to be huge live.

Love Ghost – Do You Like Me Now?

LA based rockers Love Ghost teamed up with Cinnamon Babe on latest track ‘Do You Like Me Now?’. The amalgamation of these acts has created a gritty, pop-infused rock track that’s sure to get people bouncing. Sinister choruses with guitars that are as dramatic as anything released this year are the highlight, as dual vocal styles keep things fresh.

Bingo Boys – Gutter

Release Date: 5th May 2024

Punky and bouncy, ‘Gutter’ is the latest track from American artist Bingo Boys. At their busiest during lockdown, the band are consolidating things in 2024 with new tracks being released regularly. ‘Gutter’ has the unrelenting energy of punk rock but combined with grainy vocals the track takes on a whole new lease of life. be prepared to jump along to this.
