One man band Fear Of Water have branched out a little on new track ‘Codependent Parasites’, bringing in Elias Soriano, the enigmatic frontman of legends Nonpoint. The track features the melodic guitars and and vocals that Fear Of Water are becoming known for but when combined with Soriano’s unique vocal style the track takes on a new lease of life. This could be a turning point for this project.

The latest offering from Canadian hardcore punks Cross Dog is the sort of track that can see them really push on. ‘Hard Feelings’ has the sort of vibe of a song that, when wandering round a festival, draws you in and turns them into your new favourite band. Explosive vocals, pounding drums and enough bass to give you permanent tinnitus. This is huge.
