New Music Roundup – 21st March 2024

Dancing With Azerus – Exchanging Souls

Release Date: 29th February 2024

More than 15 years in the business for Dancing With Azerus has seen them develop their post-hardcore vibe to being something massive. Whilst the majority of their music is instrumental, when the vocals come in they add so much. The soundscape changes entirely from wistful in places to chaotic. A band that are due a push. Hopefully ‘Exchanging Souls’ can provide it.

Deer Park Avenue – Queen Of Disaster

Release Date: 7th March 2024

Punky American-Indian outfit Deer Park Avenue have dropped their latest track ‘Queen Of Disaster’. The track is a softer, more indie driven affair that focuses on taking back your life. Catchy in all the right places, the song has an empowering feel and has every chance of making itself a summer anthem in 2024.

Auraboros x the great nothing – Contemplating

Release Date: 14th March 2024

Just a couple of years into their musical journey, Auraboros are taking the UK metalcore scene by the balls. Massive power pours out of ‘Contemplating’, as it has done on all of their tracks to date. Soaring cleans, bruising growls and a soundscape that feels like a pummelling. There’s enough here to get those gurns on.

stayMellow – bad mirage

Release Date: 20th March 2024

Slowing things down to almost a stumble initially we have stayMellow and ‘bad mirage’. When the pop-punk vibe kicks in after a minute or so you’re more than ready for it. Emo stylings come together with that softer rock style and create a song that you will be screaming back at whatever music listening device you use. A track that is all about contrasts.

The Warning – Hell You Call A Dream

Release Date: 8th March 2024

The Warning are a phenomenon in music right now. The Mexican sisters are tearing up everything that was assumed about music and rewriting it for themselves. New track ‘Hell You Call A Dream’ is packed with equal parts catchiness and attitude. A song that is impossible to keep still to. Long may this rise continue.
