Trish Discord & Devon Aviles – Ever So Holy

Release Date: 29th February 2024

New York-based artists Trish Discord and Devon Aviles have come together on ‘Ever So Holy’, a track that brings modern stylings to an industrial sound by combining electronic elements with heavier sections.

Discord’s vocals take centre stage initially before the awareness of what is building beneath has been realised. Once the riffs have materialised and the beat is set, ‘Ever So Holy’ takes on a new lease of life. A finger on the pulse track from artists that are ready to take that step into the spotlight.

Little Strange – Alright Now

Release Date: 22nd February 2024

Manchester, England-based rock act Little Strange have released a stomping new indie bopper, ‘Alright Now’. With a heritage that’s straight out of the 70s mixed with more modern indie vibes, the track is one that is sure to find a welcome home in the modern world of genre-fusing. Subtle vocals that would suit a QOTSA vibe mix with catchy guitars and a drum beat that will have you trying to tap that bass drum yourself.

LXSTBØY – JACKAL

Release Date: 29th February 2024

Modern punk in the form of LXSTBØY will see fans of Frank Carter and his Rattlesnakes feeling pretty good about themselves as ‘JACKAL’ combines early-era Rattlesnakes with more electronic stylings. References the feelings you get when mental health catches up with you, the track is a fast-paced affair that will have you up and dancing from the opening beat.

Global Plague – Racks

Release Date: 16th February 2024

A feeling of unease coarses through ‘Racks’, the latest track from a band that have done nothing to hide which year they formed. Fuelled by riffs exclusively, ‘Racks’ feels almost dirty to listen to, contorting faces with consummate ease as each note passes and the next takes up the mantle of just being deliciously heavy. Get ready to get grooving.

Artio & Those Who Dream – You Set My House On Fire

Release Date: 1st March 2024

Anyone that has paid attention to Hardbeat over the past year will have no doubt had their fill of Artio. Still though…there’s always room for more! ‘You Set My House On Fire’ is the latest track from Leeds based modern alt-rock group and it is another step towards global control for a band that are epitomising what modern alternative music is about. Bringing Aussie rock duo Those Who Dream gives the track another level even when compared to previous Artio efforts, with their dual vocals stepping the game up once more.
