Dayseeker – Dreamstate
Some bands explode out of nowhere, some take the more scenic route, growing over time. Both work but the latter quite often produces the most consistency and longevity. That’s what Dayseeker seem to be doing. They’ve looped back to their 2022 album, Dark Sun, to release a new video for the track and at the same time reminded us all of just how good that album was. Best dive in for another listen!
“‘Dreamstate’ is about vivid dreams I had of my father after he passed,” shares singer Rory Rodriguez. “There were truly times it felt as if we were communicating with one another, but I’d wake to reality and it would deeply affect my ability to cope.”
Dayseeker will also be supporting Pierce The Veil in the UK and Europe this spring before they embark on a headline tour of the US.
